Matt Groening’s sci-fi adventure spoof FUTURAMA takes its allegedly final flight with INTO THE WILD GREEN YONDER, the fourth, direct-to-vid animated epic.

Once again, Fry, Leela, Bender and the rest of the Planet Express crew find themselves embroiled in a hysterical galactic crisis, and only Fry can save the day. Fans of the series will find the film filled with their favorite characters and gags, and the writers even manage to get across a few surprisingly sound science fiction concepts amid the hilarity.

Fox’s Blu-Ray edition of the film looks incredible, with a 1.78:1 1080p hi-def transfer on a GB Dual layer disc. Audio is a robust Dolby DTS-HD 5.1, and there re subtitles in seven languages. There’s tons of extra features on this disc – an audio/video commentary by Groening, David X. Cohen, and most of the cast, storyboard animatics, making-of featurettes, and various other FUTURAMA-istic surprises, including "Bender’s Movie Theater Etiquette," and "Zapp Branigan’s Guide to Making love at a Woman."

The FUTURAMA franchise comes to a fitting conclusion with INTO THE WILD GREEN YONDER. Highly Recommended.
